Don’t be fooled by the humble, lonely-looking Sons of Hermann Hall. The century-old community center shelters a bar, pool tables, and ballroom with a history of hosting legendary musicians like Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zant, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Wilco, and the Dixie Chicks. Built by four fraternal lodges in 1910, the last all-wood structure in Dallas anchors the far edge of Deep Ellum.
